Current Safety Measures at ALDI Stores

To help protect the health, safety and well-being of all ALDI customers and employees, please be advised that the following measures are currently being implemented across all our stores to help reduce exposure to COVID-19. We know that access to affordable groceries is essential and we are committed to keeping our shelves stocked and providing a safe and comfortable shopping experience.

Customers and employees are required to wear properly fitting face coverings.

Maintain social distancing of 6 feet during shopping trip.

Signage, floor decals for one-way aisles and protective barriers have been installed throughout our stores and at checkout.

Intensified cleanings are conducted throughout our stores, with added focus on high-touch areas and carts.

Self-service cart wipe stations have been installed for shoppers to sanitize carts prior to shopping.

Hand sanitizing stations are available for shoppers and employees.

Vulnerable shoppers are welcome to shop at our stores during dedicated times on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

We will continue to update this list of measures based on safety protocols from the Centers for Disease Control as well as state and local health officials. Q: Do I have to wear a face mask when I shop at ALDI?
A: The health and safety of our employees, customers and the communities we serve will always be our highest priority. With that focus in mind, face coverings are required to enter all ALDI stores.

Q: What is ALDI doing in their stores to ensure my safety during COVID-19?
A: The health and well-being of our employees and customers remains our primary focus. Some of the many safety measures we’ve put in place are: customers and employees must wear masks or face coverings while working or shopping at ALDI, we’ve installed signage and floor decals to support social distancing, and are continuously cleaning our shopping carts throughout the day. We also have cart cleaning wipes and hand sanitizing stations in most stores.

Q: Have the ALDI store hours changed?
A: To continue serving our communities and adhere to local occupancy limits, some ALDI stores have adjusted their opening hours of operation to 8:30 a.m. daily. We will continue to reserve the first hour of business on Tuesdays and Thursdays for vulnerable shoppers. Please use the store finder to find information about a specific store.

Q: Can I still buy groceries from ALDI if I don’t want to go into the store?
A: We encourage any customer that is unable to shop at ALDI stores to visit for delivery and even Curbside Grocery Pickup, which is now available in many locations.

Q: Will the prices of groceries go up because of COVID-19?
A: Access to affordable groceries is more important now than ever before. Our promise to you is that ALDI will continue to offer the lowest possible price every time you shop for groceries.

Q: Can I still get all of my groceries at ALDI?
A: Our teams are working diligently to keep our shelves stocked and we are continuing to react to the Covid-19 situation. However, due to increased demand, some inventory may be temporary unavailable. Please check your local store for details.
