COVID-19 Customer Letter

ALDI Update (October 19, 2020)

Our Continued Commitment to Your Safety & Wellbeing

Dear Loyal Customers,

It’s always exciting when we transform our stores for a new season, and there’s something particularly welcoming about the flavors and products that take center stage this time of year. Regardless of the season, the safety of you and our employees is always our highest priority.

Earlier this year, we made a number of changes in our stores to reduce exposure to COVID-19. Here is a reminder of what shoppers can expect for the foreseeable future:

  • Customers and employees are required to wear properly fitting face coverings;
  • Signage throughout our stores and protective barriers at checkout to maintain social distancing;
  • Intensified cleanings throughout our stores, with added focus on high-touch areas and carts;
  • Self-service cart wipe stations where shoppers can sanitize carts prior to shopping;
  • Hand sanitizing stations available for shoppers and employees;
  • Dedicated time Tuesday and Thursday mornings for vulnerable shoppers.

We have also expanded contactless shopping options, offering grocery delivery in more than 10,000 ZIP codes across the country and curbside grocery pickup at nearly 700 of our stores. Visit our store locator or shop.aldi.us to see if these services are available near you.

We know access to affordable groceries is essential, which is why we are proud to offer the lowest possible price every time you shop for groceries. Our team is committed to keeping our shelves stocked and providing a safe and comfortable shopping experience.

Whether you shop in our stores, have your groceries delivered or swing by for curbside pickup, thank you for trusting ALDI with your grocery needs. We look forward to serving you again soon. Stay safe and be well.

Be well,
Jason Hart
CEO, ALDI U.S.
