We aim to increase our energy efficiency while minimizing our ecological footprint across our entire business. In close cooperation with architects, planning engineers and construction companies, we implement innovative technology to constantly reduce the climatic and environmental impacts of our stores, distribution centers, and corporate administration buildings.

Our Sustainability Goals

Working to reduce the environmental impact of our stores.

• We’ve incorporated all LED lighting and energy efficient HVAC and refrigeration systems since 2015.
• Our new and remodeled stores use environmentally friendly building materials.
• A “smart” remote refrigeration monitoring system has been installed in stores to improve overall operation, efficiency and performance of refrigeration systems aiming to minimize impact on the environment.
